What is Parathyroid Gland?
The parathyroid glands are two pairs of small, pea-sized, oval-shaped glands. These are located just behind the thyroid gland in your neck. Parathyroid Gland Surgery (Parathyroidectomy)

Parathyroidectomy Procedure

Tumours can be diagnosed through a sestamibi nuclear medicine scan, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Surgical tape or a skin adhesive is used to close the skin after layering sutures are placed in the tissue to close the wound.
